This weekend was the 2016 British Open and what a weekend it was! After heat 1 on Saturday morning I made the Semifinals on Sunday morning in both K1 and C1 which I was really happy about. Then as an added bonus in the semifinals I made top 10 in both classes and made the Finals!!! I was now guaranteed a position in the top 10 and didn’t think it could get any better when I ended up finishing 8th in both!! It was such an amazing weekend learning so much more about the sport. Can’t wait for 2 weeks time for the second last race of the season.

Whenever I talked with your grandad Jim on the ‘phone he always mentioned you in the conversation bringing me up to date on your successes on/in the water! He was very proud of you Daisy.
