After a series of 5 gruelling days of racing across two weekends – one at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham and the other at Lee Valley White Water Centre, racing in both of my boats – kayak and canoe, I made the Junior GB Team in Canoe. This is my biggest achievement to date and I still can’t believe it’s real! As a result of this, I will be representing my my country at the Junior and U23 World Championships in July in Ivrea, Italy and at the Junior and U23 European Championships in August in Bratislava, Slovakia. I am so excited to be travelling to these venues again as they are two of my favourite courses. It is going to be an amazing experience wearing GB kit and representing my country at this level for the first time and I can’t wait to soak up the atmosphere and compete in such a highly competitive and world class environment.
